Your standard tracker won't survive the wash bay. This one will.

Go9 Rugged is the hardwired telematics device built for assets that destroy consumer-grade hardware — excavators, generators, utility trucks, agricultural equipment, and anything that lives outside, gets pressure-washed, or works in -40°C.

Same telematics. Tougher housing. Built for the assets that break everything else.

Go9 Rugged gives you real-time GPS, engine diagnostics, g-force monitoring, and accident detection on the assets that can't use a standard OBD plug-in — because the cab gets pressure-washed, the port doesn't exist, or the operating temperature kills the hardware.

Hardwired Install for Assets

Heavy equipment, construction machinery, older vehicles, generators, and trailers get full telematics through a 3-wire hardwire install. Constant power, switched ignition, ground. Your GoFleet installer handles the routing, de-pin/re-pin, grommets, and panel routing included.

Built to Survive Extremes

IP68 sustained water immersion and IP69K high-pressure wash up to 1,450 PSI at 176°F. Operating range -40°C to +85°C. Impact-, water-, and humidity-resistant housing. The device you mount once and never think about again.

Unified Platform, Same Ecosystem

Go9 Rugged feeds into the same MyGeotab as your Go9 plug-in fleet. One dashboard for the excavator on the job site and the delivery van on the highway. Add cameras, TPMS, Garmin dispatch, or Iridium satellite through IOX when ready.

“When I started looking into Geotab, I never anticipated the ease that I could be able to capture the information from the device, it pulls right off the telematics devices and you can generate great charts and reports to improve performance.”
Rodney Raber Fleet Manager in Mineral Technologies

Predictive Engine Diagnostics

Track engine health and battery status on equipment that never reported it before: G-force monitoring, engine diagnostics, and battery health assessment flow into MyGeotab — giving your maintenance team early warning before the breakdown happens on a Tuesday morning when the crew is already on site.

Impact and Accident Detection

Impact and Accident Detection

Accident detection and notification — even on assets without a cab: Go9 Rugged captures accelerometer data on impact. If the generator gets hit in the yard or the trailer is rear-ended in transit, the event is captured. Pair with GO Focus Plus for video evidence linked to the same timestamp.

Full IOX Satellite Expansion

IOX expansion — including Iridium satellite for truly remote assets: Go9 Rugged supports the full IOX ecosystem. Add TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring), driver-initiated alerts, NFC operator ID, Garmin dispatch, or IOX-SATIRD for Iridium satellite communication on assets that operate beyond cellular coverage.

Professional Install and Setup

Professional Install and Setup

Your GoFleet team handles the hardwire install and configuration: Go9 Rugged isn't plug-and-play — it's install-once, run-forever. Your GoFleet installer routes the harness, verifies power, and confirms data flow at installmygps.com. Your success manager configures reports and alert rules. First response in 24-48 hours.

How it works

Mount, Wire, Verify: Install Complete

Find a mount location with clear sky view and minimal metal obstruction 01 - Find a mount location with clear sky view and minimal metal obstruction

Go9 Rugged mounts externally. Through-hole or side-cable routing. Secure with the screws provided. Use grommets for any panel pass-through to prevent wire chafing.

Hardwire to constant power, switched ignition, and ground 02 - Hardwire to constant power, switched ignition, and ground

Use the fuse holders and consumables in the kit. Verify with a multimeter before connecting. Plug the wiring harness into the Go9 Rugged device. If routing through tight spaces, de-pin and re-pin the connector using the mini screwdriver in the kit.

Verify three solid LEDs and confirm at installmygps.com 03 - Verify three solid LEDs and confirm at installmygps.com

Red (power), Green (cellular), Blue (GPS) — all solid means you're live. Confirm in the install portal and data starts flowing to MyGeotab. Your GoFleet team verifies remotely.

FAQ

What's the difference between Go9 and Go9 Rugged?

Same telematics core. Go9 plugs into a standard OBD-II port inside the cab. Go9 Rugged is hardwired and externally mounted with IP68/IP69K housing; built for assets without OBD ports or where the environment destroys standard hardware.

Does the install require a professional?

Recommended. Go9 Rugged is a hardwire install; constant power, switched ignition, ground. Your GoFleet installer handles routing, connector work, and verification.

Can I use it on the same dashboard as my Go9 vehicles?

Yes. Same MyGeotab platform. The excavator on the job site and the delivery van on the highway share one map.

What about truly remote assets, no cell coverage?

Add IOX-SATIRDv2 for Iridium satellite communication. Your GoFleet rep scopes whether satellite is needed during the Phase 2 conversation.

Can I add cameras?

Yes. GO Focus Plus pairs with Go9 Rugged through the IOX port. Video events link to telematics timestamps.

What's the warranty?

Contact your GoFleet rep for current warranty terms on Go9 Rugged.
